Meet the team
Bob Baker
Owner
Bob has owned and managed a finance company focused on factoring since 2011 out of having a very poor experience with a factoring company due to controlling contracts and no flexibility.
Bob used a factoring company and learned that what a salesman says is only sometimes the case after you sign contracts. So after this bad experience, he set out to start a factoring company with the best no-term contracts and the most flexibility in how you and your business use the product.
Bob enjoys working with business owners to show them that factoring is an excellent product when used correctly. This has to start with contracts allowing you to make the decisions for your business rather than being told by a factor that you signed contracts that change how you manage so they maximize their profits.
Bob is just like the business owners he works with, so he understands them and their business. Bob comes from a long-term employment with a government contractor and multiple companies owned with his wife, Andrea.
Heidi L. Johnson
Director, Portfolio Development
Heidi has been a key member of the Baker Garrington team for over 6 years. Heidi has spent the last 30 years in various roles in the commercial and consumer finance and services space. Heidi is a people person who brings her down to earth personality and pursuit of customer service excellence when working with both perspective and long-term clients. In a word, Heidi cares.
Heidi’s spirit of giving is not exclusive to her work at Baker Garrington as she has been a volunteer with the local Yelduz Shriners for many years.
An Aberdeen, SD native, Heidi enjoys spending time with family and friends and can be found on the weekends camping and dirt track racing.
